Testimonials

“Maria made the process of choosing, building and connecting to her art incredibly pleasant. With so much “noise” that goes into wedding planning, it was an immense relief knowing we were in Maria’s hands when it came to my hair comb, husband’s boutonniere, and fresh flowers for the tables. She provided visuals to us of handmade options after the initial consultation and it all went so swiftly after that! We certainly appreciate her talents, her vivaciousness and work philosophy. Thank you!”

Maria is pure magic. Not only a creative genius but maybe the hardest working human in the flower business. We came to Maria with wild, unformed big ideas and she harnessed them together to create a masterpiece better than anything we could have dreamed of. Her ability to listen, take our vision and bring it to life is remarkable. Beyond being the outstanding florist and artist that she is, Maria is also a wonderful human. She made us feel so taken care of and welcome in her process. Being able to collaborate with Maria on such an important day was one of the highlights of our wedding.

Let me paint a picture of how this all came to be. We went to Maria's farm to meet her a year before our wedding and she gave us an incredibly thorough tour and matched our excitement with equal zest, making us feel like anything was possible. Little did we know that when working with Maria anything really is possible. Here's what we asked for:  smudge sticks, some pieces that incorporated flowers, skulls and feathers, dried flower chandeliers, fresh arrangements for 16 tables and enough dried flowers to cover a tent and tent poles to a massive tent. Maria delivered and then some, adding in a dried flower bouquet mounted on a crystal handle. She took the time to really understand and internalize our vision. Everything about working with Maria was personal.
