Join us at the Fogwood Gardens Yurt for a FREE gathering to learn about the upcoming 5-week Conscious Cycling Series coming in February.

Light snacks will be provided. Bring your self, comfy clothes and cushions, your questions and interest in this material.

As humans, we are cyclic beings. And as women, we have the advantage of our cycle being overt, producing outer expressions (blood, cervical fluid, mood and energy fluctuations, etc.) that reflect inner changes throughout the month. It’s happening whether we pay attention or not—just like our breath.

Making this cycle conscious—bringing awareness to your body as your inner GPS—can be a game-changer for your day-to-day experience and the overall trajectory of your life. Living according to our body’s rhythms is critical to our physical, mental and spiritual health, yet so many of us aren’t taught how to do this. In Western culture, consistency is praised, growth and productivity are expected 24/7, and rest is seen as weakness.

The cycle knows differently—and it has a lot of wisdom to offer.

What I’ve come to know in 10 years of Conscious Cycling:

  • My body is a compass, not a curse.

  • Forcing and pushing against the body eventually results in dis-ease.

  • Honoring menstruation with rest and space can lead to incredible insight.

  • The female body = the Earth body

  • Blood is beautiful. And it’s the source of my creativity, clarity and power.

  • I can trust the unknown. I can trust change.

  • Gathering with women is a non-negotiable for my health.

In this 5-week series, we’ll explore:

  • The phases of the menstrual cycle and corresponding seasons

  • Pillars of Cycle Consciousness: Blood, Female Body = Earth Body, Trusting Change, It All Belongs

  • Practices to help develop a deeper connection to your own internal compass

  • How to apply your cycle’s wisdom to your everyday life

  • What you’re bleeding on & rituals to connect with monthly flow

  • The power of being witnessed by a circle of women and remembering the ancient way of gathering

This reclamation journey is life-long, and I will be sharing from my own life and learnings. The magic is in the co-creation and every participant brings their own wisdom, life experience and inner knowing to the circle. We get to learn from each other and see firsthand how healing happens in community.

Bio:

Andy Vantrease is a writer, story collector, women’s coach, and host of the upcoming Have You Seen the Moon? Podcast. A three-month Women Awake course with her mentor Therese Jornlin in 2017 completely shifted her worldview and began the process of reclaiming her body as sacred. Now, she navigates life using her menstrual cycle as the in-built compass that continuously points her to the most vibrant, alive and authentic version of herself. She considers being a woman to be the most badass incarnation she could have been given this time around. When not listening to podcasts, shucking oysters and making friends with strangers, she’s definitely walking around in the woods or laying somewhere on the Earth.

“Andy is one of the only women I know who actually organizes her life around her cycle, and gives herself full permission to show up authentically, according to her body’s needs. She is both incredibly impressive, while also being one of the most open-hearted and approachable people I’ve ever met. She knows how to show up big for her people, and she knows how to show up big for herself.” - Tana

“Thank you for reminding me what it means to be a cyclical woman! You have truly changed the way I understand my mind and body. I have so much respect for the work that you put into healing yourself and others.” - D.
