Join Maria Salcines of Fogwood Gardens and founder of Nature Play All Day, Ade Hoffman, for a family friendly floating flowers workshop in the school yard around a warm fire! We will be attaching Fogwood grown dried flowers to multiple strands of wire and suspending them off of sticks to create a beautiful wall hanging for your spaces. This creative process is simple and enjoyable for all ages. We encourage littles and parents to work together on their art projects!
When: Friday, November 20 from 1:00-2:30
Where: Nature Play All Day // Outside in the School Yard
2404 Collinstown Rd,
Appleton, ME 04862
Each participant will get one unique, branching stick to attach 5 floating flower strands. Baskets of dried flowers will be provided for you to choose your own combination of beautiful flowers. Maria will demonstrate the creation process, and then you are free to build at your own pace!
About Nature Play All Day: Nature Play All Day now occupies over 18 acres of wooded terrain, teeming with wildlife. Nature Play All Day is an immersive early childhood program tailored for children aged 2.5-6, where play and learning intertwine seamlessly. Operating year-round with rolling admission, our approach revolves around nature and play, championing child-led exploration. We cherish play as the cornerstone of a child's development, recognizing it as their primary mode of authentic learning during these formative years.
