Join us for a fall festive evening to create your own blooming pumpkin centerpiece at the Full Hearts Farm Store! Enjoy the view of the fields, choose a pumpkin, have a warm drink, delicious bites, and let’s craft together.
We will begin by coring out our pumpkins, and then preparing our foam free mechanics for these designs. Our pumpkins will be filled with either fresh or dried flowers grown at Fogwood Gardens. For fresh flowers, we will use changing foliage, and heirloom mums with uniquely spooky structure and autumnal palettes. Weather permitting, field dahlias, calendula and more will also be available. For dried flowers, you will have access to a mix of foliage, filler, and focal flowers from the season. Dried flowers can be repurposed into another design after your pumpkin!
This class includes:
One locally sourced pumpkin or gourd for your centerpiece
20+ fresh or dried stems grown or foraged at Fogwood Gardens
Foam free mechanics for design
A hot toddy, glass of mulled wine, or tea and some light snacks prepared by Full Hearts Farm!
When: Sunday, October 18 from 3-5 PM
Where: 1252 Royalsborough rd, Durham, Me 04222 // This workshop will be held on a covered porch overlooking the farm. The porch is unheated, so please wear a sweater or bring a jacket!
